Paul Susic M.A. Licensed Psychologist Ph.D. Candidate, has an interesting history of success in the fields of psychology and business. Paul first received an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration from St. Louis Community College in 1983, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an accounting major from the University of Missouri at St. Louis in 1985. After a short stint with Baird,Kurtz & Dobson, CPA as a staff accountant, Paul became the Chief Deputy Recorder of Deeds for St. Charles County, Missouri, managing a staff of approximately 15-17 deputies and clerks. Paul managed the Recorder of Deeds office for approximately four years while getting his Master’s Degree in Professional Psychology from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri. Paul had complete managerial, budgetary and fiscal responsibility for the Recorder’s Office and staff, and provided financial reporting to the St. Charles County Commission.

Paul began a three-year residency in geriatric psychology at Incarnate Word Hospital in 1992, where he became licensed as a psychologist in 1996. At Incarnate Word Hospital, he created and managed a Partial Hospital Program, Intensive Outpatient Program and Outpatient Counseling Services which generated well over $1 million per year in revenue. After several years of successfully creating and managing the outpatient psychiatry programs, Paul was promoted to Director of the Department of Psychiatry at Incarnate Word Hospital, managing a staff of approximately 45-50 psychologists, counselors, social workers, nurses, nurses aides and clerks, managing a budget of well over $1 million, and generating several million dollars in revenue for the hospital each year. After several years as Director of the Department of Psychiatry, Paul left to start a full-time private practice in adult and geriatric psychology in December, 1999.

Paul has now well-established himself in the community as a premier provider of geriatric psychiatry services, with an office-based practice in St. Charles Missouri and in nursing homes throughout the metropolitan St. Louis area. He has established several small businesses including Susic Psychological Consulting P.C., Senior Care Psychological Consulting, the Affiliated Psychological Referral Network and published web sites such as www.psychtreatment.com and www.smallbusinessinformationcenter.com . Paul has also continued his education and is a candidate for a Ph.D. in Professional Psychology from Walden University in Minneapolis, MN..
